The photography begins in the château’s bedrooms. These preparations matter to me: they are as much a part of the wedding story as the ceremony or the evening celebrations.

Daphné and Alexandre chose Château de Raissac in Béziers, Hérault, for their wedding. Preparations in the bedrooms were followed by the ceremony in the courtyard. A drinks reception followed in the garden, accompanied by musicians, before the celebrations moved inside the château for an evening marked by moving speeches.
In this wedding story, I give as much attention to the people as to the places they move through. The bedrooms, courtyard and garden give each part of the day a distinct setting. The couple’s portraits in the garden also have their place in the story, alongside the ceremony and speeches.

Letting the ceremony unfold
Daphné and Alexandre’s ceremony took place in the courtyard. My documentary approach means following events discreetly, without interrupting moments to turn them into photographs.

Giving the garden its place
The garden features in both the drinks reception, accompanied by musicians, and the couple’s portraits. I look for a balance between the setting and the people, so the place remains connected to their story.

Bringing the story together
The moving speeches and evening celebrations inside continue the story. Careful image selection and editing bring these moments together, without giving every photograph the same intensity.

The guests preferred not to have their photographs shared publicly. This gallery therefore presents only the approved selection, rather than the full wedding coverage delivered to the couple.
How can we plan our couple portraits without spending too long away?
I suggest we discuss this as we plan your wedding photography, taking your schedule and wishes into account. The aim is not to arrange multiple portrait sessions, but to find the right place for these photographs in your day, without keeping you away from your family and friends for long.
Can we speak English while planning our wedding in France?
Yes, we can communicate in French or English. We can discuss your day, your expectations and what photography means to you in whichever language you feel most comfortable with, as we plan your wedding photography in France.
