Their day
Caroline and Adriano chose Domaine de Fangouse in Lattes, near Montpellier, for their wedding reception. Their day in the Hérault begins with each of them getting ready at home, followed by ceremonies at the town hall and church in Lavérune. I photograph each part of the day before joining them at the venue for an elegant, lively reception.
At Fangouse, the story moves between outdoors and indoors: first the drinks reception, then sunset photographs, followed by dinner and dancing. Each part of the day brings the setting into the story. People remain my focus, though: I want to tell the story of the wedding, not just show the surroundings.
My approach

Getting ready in two separate homes, followed by ceremonies in Lavérune, calls for careful planning. Our conversations beforehand help me understand the shape of the day and plan the journeys between locations, without trying to schedule every minute.

During the ceremonies and reception alike, I work discreetly. I focus on people and the interactions between them, without asking anyone to repeat a gesture for the camera.

The outdoor drinks reception and indoor celebrations show two sides of Domaine de Fangouse. I include both in the story, alongside the sunset photographs, without making the setting the main subject.

After the wedding, the work continues as I select and edit the images. I give equal care to each photograph and to its place in the collection, so that the story unfolds as you look through it.
Before your wedding
We go through the addresses, journeys and planned timings together. If you are getting ready separately, we also agree how to divide the photography between you. This preparation helps me plan the journeys while fitting in with the flow of your wedding.
Caroline and Adriano had photographs taken at sunset, but that is not a rule. For your wedding, we consider what suits your plans, the season and your preferences. The priority is to leave you free to enjoy the reception.
Yes, we can communicate in French or English. We can discuss what you want from your photographs, how the wedding will unfold and how photography will fit into your day. My support is focused on photography; I do not offer wedding planning services.
I am based in Narbonne and photograph weddings in Montpellier, across the Hérault and throughout Occitanie. I also travel across the south of France and the rest of the country. We discuss locations and travel arrangements from our first conversations about your wedding.
